    Dune Quote of the Day

Greatness is a transitory experience. It is never consistent. It depends in part upon the myth-making imagination of humankind. The person who experiences greatness must have a feeling for the myth he is in. He must reflect what is projected upon him. And he must have a strong sense of the sardonic. This is what uncouples him from belief in his own pretensions. The sardonic is all that permits him to move within himself. Without this quality, even occasional greatness will destroy a man.

    Dune Quote of the Day....

What do you despise? By this are you truly known."Manual of Muad'Dib" by the Princess Irulan

  • Dune (Frank Herbert)
  • Happy New Year (Belated)

Its 2008 and I am back on the Dune thing again. Albeit this time via the audiobooks. I just finished Dune and I am getting ready to start Dune Messiah... I just love those books...

I am still traveling with work. I am in Denver these days. I have to admit Colorado has its charm, its not Texas but its okay. Being here in Colorado makes me want to be more fit, so I am gonna attempt,.. ahem to do that. I took up cycling last year which Colorado is perfectly suited for. I love taking my bike out while here. However, I had wrist surgery last Oct and it will still be a few weeks until I am able to fully get back in the saddle. Until then, spinning classes will have to do.

I also, plan to start utilizing my camera to its fullest here. I have not been taking pics in colorado and that needs to change , this place is much too beautiful to not capture it in pictures......
